This unit of competency specifies the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of security personnel to operate an access control, alarm monitoring and closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring equipment. This Competency Units, together with other elective units, are tailored to provide the skill outcomes required for training of all personnel performing the role of a licensed Security officer.
On completion of this unit, learner will be able to apply appropriate actions to deter undesired outcomes when on duty at protected areas and places. Thus, upon successful completion of this Programme, the learner will have the knowledge and applications skills to Perform Security Duties at Protected Areas and Protected Places.
