In this course, you will learn:
- Setting up a functional home studio and using essential production tools
- Basics of sound design, MIDI, and sampling techniques
- Core music theory: understanding tempo, rhythm, and beat-making
- Composing and structuring tracks with intros, verses, choruses, and outros
- Creating melodies, harmonies, and engaging musical arrangements
- Fundamentals of audio mixing, including balancing levels and EQ
- Introduction to mastering techniques to polish and finalize tracks
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a solid foundation in digital music production, along with your own completed tracks.

What Equipment Will Be Used in This Course?
In this course, we’ll focus on setting up a simple, budget-friendly home studio that allows you to produce high-quality music without breaking the bank. Our goal is to teach you how to create music at home with accessible and affordable tools, so you can continue practicing and producing on your own after the course ends.
The core equipment includes:
- Bandlab: This user-friendly digital audio workstation (DAW) is free and accessible, making it perfect for beginners. Bandlab offers all the essential features for recording, editing, and mixing tracks.
- Novation Launchpad: A versatile and intuitive MIDI controller that allows you to trigger sounds, loops, and samples easily. The Launchpad is an affordable and portable tool ideal for home setups.
- Arturia Minilab: This compact MIDI keyboard is excellent for creating melodies, basslines, and chords. It’s designed to be both functional and affordable, providing a great range of sounds and creative possibilities without the need for larger, more expensive equipment.
