(“Hustle Institute”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to safeguarding the personal data entrusted to us by our learners, clients, partners, trainers, employees, and other stakeholders. We recognise the importance of personal data protection and are fully committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”), as well as all applicable data protection regulations and guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”).

This Privacy Policy sets out how Hustle Institute collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal data in the course of providing education, training, consultancy, and related services. By engaging with our services, enrolling in our programmes, or interacting with our platforms, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected by Hustle Institute, whether collected directly from individuals or indirectly through third parties such as employers, training partners, or government agencies. The policy covers personal data relating to learners and course participants, corporate clients and sponsored employees, trainers and facilitators, employees and job applicants, website visitors, marketing leads, and event participants.

For learners and course participants, this may include identifying information such as name, NRIC, FIN or passport number where legally required, date of birth, nationality, gender, contact details, employment information, course enrolment records, attendance data, assessment results, certification records, payment details, SkillsFuture Credit information where applicable, and feedback or evaluation responses.

For corporate clients and business partners, personal data may include company and contact person details, billing information, correspondence records, and information relating to the training participation of sponsored employees. For trainers, facilitators, and contractors, we may collect identification details, contact information, professional qualifications, accreditation records, bank account details for payment purposes, and performance or compliance records.

For employees and job applicants, personal data may include resumes, employment history, interview assessments, employment contracts, payroll details, performance reviews, and attendance records. When individuals visit our websites or interact with our digital platforms, we may also collect technical data such as IP addresses, device information, browser data, cookies, usage analytics, and information voluntarily submitted through enquiry or registration forms.

Purposes of Collection, Use, and Disclosure

Hustle Institute collects, uses, and discloses personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. These purposes include administering and delivering training and education programmes, processing enrolments, managing attendance and assessments, issuing certificates, administering government-funded training schemes, communicating course-related information, and providing learner support services.

Personal data is also used for operational and administrative purposes such as internal record-keeping, billing and payment processing, responding to enquiries or complaints, conducting audits and quality assurance reviews, managing compliance obligations, and ensuring the effective operation of our business.

Where permitted under the PDPA, personal data may also be used for marketing and engagement purposes, including informing individuals about upcoming courses, events, or initiatives, sending newsletters or promotional communications, conducting surveys, and improving our services. Individuals may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

In addition, personal data may be collected, used, or disclosed where required for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes, including compliance with SkillsFuture Singapore and other statutory bodies, responding to lawful requests from public authorities, investigating suspected misconduct, and protecting the legal rights and interests of Hustle Institute.

Hustle Institute collects, uses, and discloses personal data only with an individual’s consent, unless otherwise permitted or required under the PDPA. Consent may be obtained explicitly through written or electronic means, or implicitly when personal data is voluntarily provided for a clearly stated purpose.

Such third parties may include government agencies, trainers and assessors involved in course delivery, IT service providers, payment processors, professional advisors, and corporate clients for employer-sponsored training.

Hustle Institute implements reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, loss, misuse, or alteration. Retention of Personal Data

PDPA Compliance and Data Protection Officer

Hustle Institute has appointed a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) to oversee compliance with the PDPA and this Privacy Policy. The DPO is responsible for handling PDPA-related enquiries, consent withdrawal requests, access and correction requests, and complaints relating to personal data.

Refund Policies

  • Full payment of course fees, including applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), whether at the full fee or net fee after applicable government subsidies, must be made on or before the commencement of the first lesson of the course. Once the course has commenced, the course fees paid shall not be refundable.
  • In the event that a course is cancelled by Hustle Institute due to insufficient enrolment, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of any registration and course fees paid will be made to the learner.

  • No refund of course fees or deposits will be granted in cases of non-attendance, withdrawal, or non-completion of the course by the learner, including situations where the learner fails to attend the first or subsequent lessons. Any exceptional refund requests will be subject to management review and approval on a case-by-case basis.

  • Hustle Institute reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or make reasonable changes to course schedules, venues, trainers, or delivery modes where necessary. Learners will be informed of any such changes in a timely manner
