What will I learn?
This workshop is aimed to enable Security Officers to acquire the fundamental knowledge and be equipped with the abilities on deploying security equipments such as access controls, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipments. Topics covered include:
- Learn the technical know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
- Improve a site’s security systems and identify gaps or areas which require the deployment of respective security equipment
- Train security officers to give them the know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
After successfully completing this unit, learners will also be able to identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.
This workshop makes up one of the core modules for individuals aspiring to pursue a role as a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS).
