Workshop Outcome

What will I learn?

This workshop is aimed to enable Security Officers to acquire the fundamental knowledge and be equipped with the abilities on handling disorderly conduct and threatening behaviors, professionally. Topics covered include:

  • Determining areas that may be susceptible to aggressive or threatening behavior at their workplace
  • Approaching individuals that are aggressive or threatening
  • Handling cases that involve aggressive or threatening individuals such as visitor disputes or conflicts

After successfully completing this unit, the learner will be equipped with apt industry-specific skills and knowledge to be able to deter threats and manage disorderly behaviors.

This workshop is also one of the 2 mandatory SSO courses for aspiring Senior Security Officers (SSO).
